I found this today and it made me laugh.

Actually, I found a bunch of the Jimmy Stewart tweets addressed to me and other people and had to go back and favourite them just because Twitter for some strange reason unfavourited them. Sheesh. You’d think they’d work out their kinks after all this time.

But yep. These still make me smile…

Jimmy & his dogs

This picture always reminds me of Jimmy’s appearance on The Tonight Show in ‘81 when he read a poem he’d written about his late dog, Beau. It’s one appearance of his on a talk show that always makes me cry. Jimmy was a gorgeous human being with a big heart and the love he showed for not just his friends and family but his dogs was awe-inspiring. Makes me wish I had a dog too not just because they’re fun and sweet, can be your best friend but because I have a lot of love in me and they’re so accepting.
